Before you begin:
- You have 60 minutes for both tasks on one clock — Task 1 (suggested 20 min, 150+ words) and Task 2 (suggested 40 min, 250+ words).
- You can move between Task 1 and Task 2 at any time — your work is preserved.
- The word count updates live. There is no spellcheck — spelling counts in your score, exactly like the real exam.
- Copy, cut and paste work inside the test. Pasting text from outside is blocked and logged.
- When the timer reaches zero, the screen locks and your answers are submitted automatically.
You do not need to give us personal details before practising. After both tasks are assessed, we will ask for your separate Free IELTS Practice profile before showing and emailing the report.

- After you finish, your separate Free IELTS Practice profile, both answers, assessment and delivery status are stored. Your email must be verified before the report opens.
- Tab switches and leaving the test window are counted locally as part of the practice summary.
