In 1965, The Rose Mount School Society was founded in Dehradun with a simple belief: education should nurture the whole person, not just fill heads with facts. For six decades, this philosophy has shaped thousands of lives in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Rosemounts Institute is the natural evolution of that legacy — a dedicated centre for well-being, skills, and career guidance. We exist because we saw too many young people confused about their future, pressured by expectations, and guided by generic advice that ignored who they truly were.
Today, we combine decades of educational wisdom with modern assessment tools and a deeply human approach. We don’t just tell students what to do — we help them discover who they are and what they’re capable of becoming.

Director & Founder, Rosemounts Institute
With over three decades in education and a personal journey that taught him the cost of not being seen or understood as a young person, Madhukar founded Rosemounts Institute to ensure no child faces their future alone and confused.
He has counselled thousands of students who now work across the globe, and his philosophy of “The Gardener’s Way” shapes every program and interaction at Rosemounts.
