Our story
The work changed. The belief at its heart did not.
Education should help a person become more capable, more self-aware and better able to choose. That belief has travelled from a school legacy into language classrooms, career conversations, assessments, projects and school partnerships.

The Rose Mount School Society was founded in Dehradun with a whole-person view of education: learning should develop the person, not only prepare them for an examination.

Madhukar Dhiman
Founder & Director
Madhukar Dhiman has worked in education for more than three decades and has guided thousands of students and families. Rosemounts reflects the questions that have shaped that work: How do we understand a person more fully? How do we turn information into a useful conversation? And how do we help someone act without deciding for them?
The Institute's educators, counsellors and programme teams carry that principle into classrooms, schools, family conversations and professional training.
