Rosemounts Institute is proud to announce the launch of “The Empowered Educator,” a new, comprehensive 25-hour professional development program designed to equip teachers with the essential skills, mindsets, and strategies needed for a 21st-century classroom. As the demands on educators grow more complex, this program provides relevant, practical training focused on the holistic wellbeing of both the student and the teacher.
“The Empowered Educator” is an intensive but paced program built on a foundation of practical application, collaborative learning, and a commitment to fostering the 4Cs (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication). The curriculum guides teachers through three core areas:
- Foundational Principles: Covering Child Psychology, modern pedagogy, and positive classroom management.
- Differentiated & Effective Instruction: Focusing on differentiation, Project-Based Learning, research skills, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) with a focus on self-management.
- The Modern Educator: Building skills in parent communication, digital citizenship, AI fluency, and teacher wellbeing.
The program is facilitated by a distinguished team, bringing a unique blend of educational leadership, psychological expertise, and pedagogical mastery. The team includes Mr. Madhukar Dhiman, an experienced school administrator with a practical, hands-on approach to training; Dr. (Lt. Col.) Kartikeya Singh, a psychiatrist with profound expertise in child and adolescent mental health; and Ms. Vimala Jacob, a curriculum specialist with over three decades of experience in teacher training and international curricula.
Our program philosophy is that “the most effective teaching emerges when educators are confident in their pedagogical skills, fluent with modern tools, and grounded in a deep understanding of their students’ developmental and emotional needs.”
The program is available for school cohorts in both online and offline formats. Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from Rosemounts Institute.
