Career guidance is usually a one-off: a test, a report, one conversation, then silence until forms are due. This pathway runs for seven years—one stage for each school year, each building on the one before.

Student guidance does not replace the counsellor, teacher or parent.

What does a Rosemounts school partnership include?
The partnership turns career counselling for schools into a continuing Grade 6–12 student pathway. It combines counselling, parent and teacher input, skills development, portfolio evidence, counsellor support and a separate year-group view for school leadership. The exact scope is designed around the school’s calendar and existing guidance system.
Is the student pathway only a career assessment?
No. Most career programmes end with a report; this pathway begins with one. Assessment and counselling lead into skills, exploration, portfolio evidence, decisions and review across the school years.
Which grades does the pathway cover?
The complete pathway runs from Grades 6–12. Grades 6–8 are foundation years and sit outside the VIP+™ package. Grades 9–12 form the VIP+™ Career Pathway Program.
Can the pathway work across different curricula?
Yes. The intended outcome for each year remains consistent. CBSE, ICSE and ISC, Cambridge and IB change how the pathway is expressed. The school’s subjects, calendar and decision dates come first.
What does school leadership receive?
Leadership receives a separate WISE Report™ on the whole year group. It shows who needs attention, priority actions, stream and interest patterns, work preferences, skills gaps and well-being pressures without handing private student reports to the school.
Does Rosemounts replace the school counsellor?
No. The counsellor remains central. Rosemounts provides a continuing framework, workspace, current knowledge and professional support. Technology and reports do not replace the relationship or the counsellor’s judgement.
How are teachers and parents involved?
Their perspectives form two of the four readings considered before a student report is written. Teachers receive an appropriate student view, and parents are brought into interpretation, learning and key decision conversations.
How does a school begin?
