Career assessment in Dehradun and online · Grades 8–12

Know yourself before you choose your next direction.

Most career assessments give you a report. Ours starts a conversation.

The VIP+™ Career Pathway Program is a counsellor-guided journey that helps a student understand their Values, Interests, Personality and Skills before considering suitable subjects, streams, courses and career directions.

The aim is a better-informed next decision—not a label or a promise of one perfect career.

The VIP+™ framework

No single result is allowed to define the student.

Each lens answers a different question. The value comes from reading the pattern across all four and then discussing what it means in the student's real educational context.

VPortrait Values Questionnaire · PVQ

Values

What matters enough to guide a decision?

Values help explain the priorities a student wants a future path to respect. They are not a ranking of good and bad qualities.

IRIASEC interest framework

Interests

What kinds of activity and problems draw attention?

Interest patterns help identify environments and forms of work worth exploring. Exposure can change and deepen them over time.

PPersonal Attributes Assessment · PAA™

Personality

How does the student tend to think, respond and work?

Personality patterns provide context for learning and work preferences. They do not place the student inside a fixed type.

+Durable and Applied Talents + Mindsets · DAT+M™

Skills

Which useful behaviours are present—and which can grow?

The skills lens looks at practical behaviours such as focus, resilience, communication and information literacy that can develop through practice.

When available: parent and teacher perception forms add another point of view. They provide context; they do not replace the student's own voice.

A programme, not a one-off test

Clarity is built in stages.

The process slows an important decision down long enough for the student to understand the evidence, ask questions and consider what to try next.

Read the evidence and limits
  1. 01

    Understand the question

The process begins with the student’s grade, context and the educational decision directly ahead.

  2. 02

    Complete the assessment lenses

Values, Interests, Personality and Skills are gathered across suitable sittings. Parent and teacher perception may add context where available.

  3. 03

    Bring the pattern together

The report synthesises the lenses instead of allowing one score or one instrument to dominate the story.

  4. 04

    Discuss and act

A trained counsellor helps the student and family connect the evidence with subjects, streams, courses, colleges, skills and experiences worth investigating.

The VIP+™ Career Pathway Report

See the pattern. Understand the reasons.

The report is designed to be read, discussed and returned to. It brings the assessment evidence together in plain language and connects it with practical exploration.

01

One integrated picture

The four assessment lenses are read together so agreements, tensions and important questions become visible.

02

Possible pathways with reasons

Directions are explained as possibilities to examine, not as a computer-generated instruction about one perfect career.

03

An action layer

The report connects insight with questions, skills and practical next steps that the student can revisit.

Manan™ · Inside the VIP+ report

The report can answer follow-up questions.

Manan is the digital guide inside the personalised VIP+ report. It helps the student understand the report, compare ideas and prepare for the next human conversation.

Meet Manan in the sample report
01

Grounded in that student’s report

Manan begins with the student’s own VIP+ profile rather than offering generic career advice.

02

Available after the counselling session

Students can ask for explanations, compare ideas and prepare better questions as their thinking develops.

03

A guide—not the decision-maker

Manan extends reflection between human conversations. Important choices remain with the student, family and counsellor.

Questions families ask

Before beginning VIP+.

Read the research behind this programme →
Is VIP+ just a career assessment test?

No. The VIP+™ Career Pathway Program is a counsellor-guided process. Assessments are one stage; the integrated report, interpretation, counselling and action planning are equally important.

Which students is the programme designed for?

The public school-student pathway is designed primarily for Grades 8–12. The exact focus changes with the student’s grade and the decision ahead, such as subjects, stream, courses or university planning.

Does the report recommend one perfect career?

No. It identifies patterns and suitable directions for exploration. The report cannot predict one perfect future, and no single assessment result is treated as a verdict.

Are parent and teacher views included?

Parent and teacher perception forms can add useful context where they are available. They are not used to overrule the student, and the report does not show a missing perspective as though data were present.

Is Manan included in every Discovery Assessment?

No. Manan is the guide inside the personalised VIP+™ Career Pathway Report. The complimentary Discovery Assessments are separate, focused starting tools.

How are the fee and schedule decided?

Begin with a complimentary Discovery Call. Rosemounts first understands the student’s grade, location and decision, then explains the suitable process, current schedule and fee.

Begin with the student's question

What decision is directly ahead?

Tell us the student's grade and the choice that feels uncertain. The first call helps us explain whether VIP+ is the right pathway.
