The goal of every teacher ideally should be to create entrepreneurs, innovators, creators and independent thinkers. Powerful and effective learning demands well-prepared teachers. Teachers need to be equipped with the right skill set. Rosemounts along with Planet Edu and QAI: London have been training teachers placed with some of the top schools in India. The teacher training programmes that we offer open up a world of career opportunities.

Blended and Flipped Learning:

Blended and Flipped learning is a method that reverses the conventional teaching arrangement by delivering instructional content outside of the classroom. It moves activities, including those that may have traditionally been considered homework, into the classroom. In a flipped classroom, students watch online lectures, collaborate in online discussions, or carry out research at home and engage in concepts in the classroom with the guidance of a teacher.

TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test): University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations:

TKT is a test from Cambridge ESOL relating to teaching English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers’ confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world. This flexible and accessible award will help teachers understand different methodologies for teaching, the ‘language of teaching’, the way in which resources can be used, the key aspects of lesson planning, and classroom management methods for different needs.

TKT: Module 1 – Language and background to language learning and teaching.

TKT: Module 2 – Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching.

TKT: Module 3 – Managing the teaching and learning process.

TKT: CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) - Covers teaching subjects such as science, history and geography to students through a foreign language. In the Indian context that foreign language is English.

Rosemounts offers prep classes in association with Planet Edu and QAI: London for the complete range of University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations Teaching Awards.
