TOEIC ®

The Test of English for International Communication is a proficiency rating test accepted worldwide for academic and professional purpose. The TOEIC program assesses the English-language skills of the individual that are required in the workplace.

The TOEIC® Listening and Reading test is a paper-and-pencil, multiple-choice assessment. The two sections are of 100 questions each.

The test duration is approximately 2½ hours, with:

Listening Test takers carefully listen to different kinds of questions and short conversations [in English]. They then need to answer questions based on the recording heard. (100 items total).

Part 2: Question-Response
Part 3: Conversations
Part 4: Short Talks

Reading Test takers read a variety of materials and respond at their own pace (100 items total).
Part 5: Incomplete Sentences
Part 6: Error Recognition or Text Completion
Part 7: Reading Comprehension
