Career counselling · Dehradun + online

Career counselling for the decision in front of you.

Choose subjects, courses, colleges or your next career step with a clear view of who you are and which options are open.

We listen first. Then we use careful research, suitable assessments and practical activities to help you decide. We do not label you or promise one perfect career.

  • Start with where the learner is now
  • Use assessments to guide—not decide
  • Compare real study and career options
  • Leave with clear next steps

Guidance at every stage

Start with the choice you need to make now.

Different choices need different conversations. We guide you based on where you are now.

After Class 10

Choose subjects and a stream

Compare subject choices and see which future courses they keep open. Look beyond marks and outside pressure.

After Class 12

Compare courses and colleges

Explore courses, entrance exams, colleges and universities in India or abroad.

College or university

Plan your next step

Review your subject focus, skills to build, higher studies and first career options.

Professional

Think through a change

Look at your priorities, useful skills and practical limits before changing careers or returning to work.

A practical process

Turn confusion into a clear next step.

We take time to understand you, compare the options and decide what to do next.

  1. 01

    Name the decision

Start with the choice you need to make. You do not need to have all the answers.

  2. 02

    Gather useful evidence

Your counsellor may use conversation, research and suitable assessments. One score will never decide your future.

  3. 03

    Compare the real options

Compare what suits you, what each option needs, what it costs and where it may lead.

  4. 04

    Agree the next steps

Leave with clear questions and actions for the student and family.

We explain the suggested process and fee after the first conversation, before you decide.

Useful outcomes

Leave with a plan you can use.

What you receive depends on your question. We organise what you have learned and turn it into clear next steps.

01

Options to explore

A short list of subjects, courses, colleges or career directions to explore further.

02

Comparisons to make

The questions, facts and family needs to check before making a decision.

03

Things to try

Skills, activities or guided projects that can help the learner test an interest.

How assessments help

Assessments can guide you. They do not decide for you.

Assessments can help you understand interests, values, personality and skills. We also look at studies, responsibilities, opportunities and real experience. No single result makes the decision.

Before you begin

Common questions from students and parents.

The first call helps us understand your need and suggest a next step. You do not have to choose an assessment or programme on this call.

Who can use career counselling at Rosemounts?

It is for school students choosing subjects, students planning after Class 12, college and university students, working professionals and parents helping a learner decide.

Will a career assessment decide the right career for me?

No. An assessment can show useful patterns, but it cannot make the decision for you. We discuss the results along with your subjects, situation, goals and opportunities.

Can parents join the counselling conversation?

Yes. Parents can help the student compare options and make a choice the family can support. The learner remains part of the decision.

Does Rosemounts provide online career counselling?

Yes. You can meet us at Rosemounts in Dehradun or speak with a counsellor online from anywhere in India.

How are the process and fee decided?

The first conversation helps us understand where the learner is now and what they need to decide. We then explain the suggested process, available times and fee before you choose whether to continue.
