Enterprise skills grow when students make decisions, explain them and learn from feedback.

Learning by building

The project gives every skill a purpose.

A budget matters because it affects the idea. Communication matters because the learner has to win trust. Teamwork and resilience matter because plans change. Kids MBA makes those connections visible through one continuing project.

The 12-session journey

One idea, developed from four practical angles.

Each session adds something useful to the same student-owned project. The result is not a collection of worksheets—it is a plan the learner can explain and defend.

01

Start with an idea

Curiosity is enough

Find a problem worth solving

Students begin with their own interests and observations. They shape an idea, clarify what makes it useful and decide who it is meant to help.

  • Idea generation and problem-solving
  • A clear purpose and customer
  • No previous business experience required
02

Build the business

Identity · customers · communication

Give the idea a name, story and audience

The learner develops a simple brand, thinks about customers and practises explaining why the idea matters. Each activity becomes part of the final Living Business Plan.

  • Name, identity and positioning
  • Customer and marketing thinking
  • Communication, teamwork and feedback
03

Understand the money

Practical financial literacy

Learn how a business makes decisions

Students work with age-appropriate ideas about pricing, budgets, costs, borrowing and investment. The emphasis is on understanding choices rather than memorising financial terms.

  • Pricing, costs and simple budgets
  • Loans, investment and business structures
  • Responsible and ethical decision-making
04

Present the plan

The final session

Take the Living Business Plan to the pitch room

The programme ends with a supportive Shark Tank-style presentation. Students explain the idea, answer questions and receive feedback on both the plan and the way they communicate it.

Questions people ask

What to know before you begin.

Who is the Kids MBA programme for?

The programme is designed for students in Grades 6–8. It suits curious learners who enjoy making, explaining, organising or solving problems; they do not need to arrive with a business idea.

How long is the programme?

Kids MBA is organised as 12 guided sessions. The current timetable, batch size and delivery dates are confirmed before registration.

What does each student create?

Each student develops a Living Business Plan covering the idea, customer, brand, marketing and money decisions, then uses it to prepare a final business pitch.

Is this mainly a finance course?

No. Financial literacy is one part of the programme. Students also practise communication, creativity, teamwork, customer thinking, leadership and ethical decision-making.

Is Kids MBA the same as career counselling?

No. Kids MBA is a practical enterprise and life-skills programme. It can help a learner discover strengths and interests, but it does not replace an individual career-guidance process.
